"3-2-1 Recipe "My Guy" 

Thing 1:  Trouble Maker

says, "Sunday, June 15th is a great time to honor your Dad or someone special who has had a significant impact on your life, but your project doesn't have to be for Father's Day... any occasion for your favorite guy is acceptable. 

Let's celebrate and stir up some trouble in Double Trouble's Kitchen and create a project using all the ingredients from our 3-2-1 Recipe below." 

                          

3-2-1- Recipe "My Guy"  

Servings - Unlimited Portions of Fun

Ingredients:  

   3  Layers - Does not include card base

   2  Different patterned papers 

   1  Kraft or color similar to Kraft

Directions: You MUST include at least the required minimum of each ingredient for successful results and a chance in our random drawing... but you can enhance your project and use more than the ingredients stipulated.  If you are unsure of the ingredient description, click HERE for additional details on that ingredient, which may answer your question.

play along with Thing 3's optional twist and/or consider Thing 2's optional dare to use our sister's sketch challenge and earn additional chances in our random drawing. 

THING 3:  Twisted Sister 

says, "I'm tapping my feet while humming the song, 'My Guy'... It's such a catchy tune.   My guy likes camping, and there are many elements for a card, like a campfire, canoe, grill, tent, fishing, etc. But that's my guy... what about your guy's favorite activity or sport?  My optional twist is to use any element representing how he enjoys spending time. Be sure to mention it in your post." 

If you have included an element for Your Guy in your project, you will earn another chance in our Random Draw.         

THING 2:  Double Dare

says, "Click on my clipart to the left to see the sneak peek of our sketch from our sister challenge, Try a Sketch On Tuesday #672. I dare you to combine this sketch with our Double Trouble 3-2-1 recipe, 'My Guy'. You will be awarded TWO additional chances in our random drawing if you do. 

"Please note that TSOT starts on June 10th, so this sneak peek gives you the day before to create; but remember... to prevent backlinking, your project should not be posted, published, or entered before June 10th in Try a Sketch On Tuesday HERE."

Thing 1:  Trouble Maker

says, "National Sunscreen Day, also known as Don't Fry Day, occurs annually on May 27th, reminding us to stay sun-safe as we enjoy the days of summer. It's time to use sunscreen for fun in the sun, or you can stay in your craft room, sun-safe, and let the summer breezes inspire you. 

Let's celebrate and stir up some trouble in Double Trouble's Kitchen by creating a 'Sun Fun' project using the ingredients from our 3-2-1 Recipe below." 

                          

3-2-1- Recipe "Sun Fun"

     3  Torn Edges    

     2  Colors 

     1  Die-Cut, Punched, or Ephemera Item   

Directions: You MUST include at least the required minimum of each ingredient for successful results and a chance in our random drawing... but you can enhance your project and use more than the ingredients stipulated.  If you are unsure of the ingredient description, click HERE for additional details on that ingredient, and this may answer your question.

says, "Calling all flip-flop wearers! Flip-flops are a little piece of paradise. Going almost shoeless is as much a summer tradition as baseball, hot dogs, and the beach. My optional twist is to include at least one flip-flop in your project."

says, "National Brown Bag-It Day and Double Trouble's 7th Anniversary are both celebrated on May 25th. We have appreciated your participation in our challenges over the past seven years, so we are having our second annual Celebratory Raffle Event to show our appreciation. Let me finish my bagged lunch, and we will begin the raffle. 

"It's time to pull out the brown paper bag with Raffle tickets and give the bag a shake. Then it's your turn to pick a Ticket and create a project using the theme on ticket. Remember, each project may only be submitted to one of the Raffle Categories. 

         

 

        1. Anniversary or Wedding (Yellow Ticket)

"My optional twist is to use Kraft paper, Kraft-colored cardstock, a brown paper bag, or any product made from Kraft-like paper in your project. Kraft can be used in any of these categories and is a perfect accompaniment to many combinations of colors and/or patterns."
